Eastgate Culture
At Eastgate, we're all about Jesus. Sundays are exciting, casual and relaxed. You won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. And we don't care how you're dressed or what candidate you voted for. Our church is made up of imperfect people with every kind of story imaginable.
No matter what you've been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you'll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone. At the same time you will find a community where you can be challenged to belong, believe, become and be sent.
What to Expect
Every Sunday @ 11am - 75 min
We are thankful that you are considering worshiping with us at Eastgate Baptist Church. Here’s what you can expect when visiting the Worship Gathering:
Worship Through Song
Worship is an interactive, participatory experience. We worship the Lord through singing our praises to Him. Our format might be best described as contemporary, which means that we utilize praise music that is centered on scripture. Because of the rich history of our church, much of our worship includes updated musical arrangements of traditional and modern hymns. Check out some of our favorite worship songs here.
Worship Through Giving
We worship the Lord by cheerfully giving Him our tithes and offerings, which are a portion of what He has blessed us with. You can give during the service or anytime through the giving portal on our website. If you are a visitor, you are not expected or obligated to give.
Worship Through Message
We worship the Lord through the proclamation of His Word, the Bible. Our pastor seeks to preach and teach the Word in such a way that builds up the body of Christ (the church) and boldly makes known the Gospel. If you would like to listen, feel free to browse our sermon archive.
Worship Through Prayer
We worship the Lord through prayer at various points during the service. Prayer is a time of communication with God, when we come before God’s throne with our praise, thanksgiving, supplications, and intercessions.
What about my Kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church, while being challenged to learn about God every single week - and at Eastgate, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed children’s check-in process the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in.
Our children and youth ministry is available during our Connection Group time, every Sunday starting 9:30am for infants - 12th grade. Click below to learn more!
