The Bible is the Word of God
The Bible is the Word of God to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source and authority of truth for life, faith, and practice. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth that is trustworthy, without any mixture of error. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is the true center of Christian union, and the ultimate standard by which all behavior, beliefs, and opinions should be measured. All Scripture points to Jesus Christ, who is the focus of divine revelation.
